Pic of the Day: October 25th

I've recently gotten into Stranger Things. And by recently, I mean that I binged the whole season for the first time this past Saturday. But I really enjoyed it so naturally I'm collecting some stuff to go along with it now, and in this picture is my Demogorgon Pop figure. I really didn't know what to do for a picture today but I thought this guy would look cool in the leaves, and I think I was definitely right about that. I also feel like he kind of blends in, like he's found a good spot to stalk his prey.


In other news, I really have no idea what I'm going to do about a pic-fic. I wouldn't even say I have a real idea, I have a very vague concept and that's about it. How I'm going to turn that into something by next Tuesday, I really couldn't tell you. I feel like Star Lord in this clip. Except I think twelve percent is a bit more than what I have right now!

I love Stranger Things! It's the only show I've truely ever binge watched I think. I can't wait for season 2 coming up on Friday. I was planning on rewatching season 1 before season 2 came out but I'm not sure if I have enough time now. I've always wanted to collect the pops but I've been trying to slow down on pop collecting in general. I would snatch Eleven up if I ever found her though since she's my favorite. I hear that they're releasing plushies of the characters so maybe I'll finally get Eleven but in plushie form.

I definitely agree that it looks like the Demogorgon is trying to blend into the leaves. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if that happens in season 2 since I feel like it's going to be very October/Halloween centric.

I'm sorry you're having trouble with the Picfic. Maybe adding in some fandom aspects to the Picfic, like Guardians of the Galaxy like you linked or something, will help you get inspired? :)

I try to limit myself with Pops too because it's crazy how many there are, and how many variations of certain characters! If you're looking for Eleven, though, Target should probably have her, because they just did a reset with a decent sized Stranger Things section by the electronics, and it looks like they got in most of the Pop series, as well as the plushies, though it looks like only Eleven and the Demogorgon are out right now. They're really cute. I can't wait until the others are released! I'm having a bit of a rough time deciding which Stranger Things Pops to buy because since I just watched it so recently, I'm not sure which characters I like the most yet, aside from Eleven. I'll probably get the Halloween versions of the all the boys once they come out.

Season 2 does definitely seem like it's going to have a Halloween vibe, which just makes me more excited for it.

I've been trying to put a fandom spin on things, mostly involving Flora, but I'm just not sure where to go with it. I may end up scrapping what little bit of an idea I have and just do something quick and silly. I really don't know.
