Pic of the Day: October 19th

I figured Lea was probably feeling a little left out with all of the attention Violet and Flora have been getting recently, so I thought she'd like to be the star of today's picture. I am really, really thrilled with this. I love how the lighting turned out, and just what an autumn/October feel it has to it. Lea's wearing a Journey Girls outfit that actually doesn't really fit, but it looks pretty good here. She's really having a fun time pumpkin picking with her skeleton kitten friends, and they look really into it, too.

Aw I love this. Lea reminds me of a little girl who just came back from her first time at a pumpkin patch. She looks very proud of her new pumpkin so I think she was eager to show her two skeleton cats what she just got. The cat on the right looks just as excited as Lea does whilst the cat on the left looks very curious and kind of weary of the pumpkin.

Now that I think about it, this picture reminds me a lot of myself after my first pumpkin picking trip in kindergarten. I couldn't wait to come home and show off what I picked, and wouldn't stop talking about it.

I'm really glad I chose to use the little cats for this photo because their expressions really add something to it!

The cat on the left looks like he thinks a skeletal mouse might be lurking under the pumpkin. The other looks like he's waiting for a little snuggling.

The one on the left does definitely seem enthralled by something! I love these little cats' expressions, they really seem "alive" here...or as alive as a skeleton cat can get, anyway!
