Pic of the Day: October 20th

Here are my two amazing pumpkin dolls from EsmeMade on Etsy. (She also has an Instagram account.) The lovely witch lady, Meadow, actually just arrived today, while the sweet little green mustached man, Elias, has been around since February. (And yes, they're both named after American Horror Story characters, my favorite characters from seasons seven and six, respectively.) I feel like these two complement each other so well and were meant to be together, even though they weren't made intended to be a matching set. And I absolutely love how this picture came out. They both just look so serene, like they're really enjoying a nice October afternoon. They almost make me want to go and take a nap in the leaves, or something.

Wow this is absolutely gorgeous! You would definitely be the winner of an October photo contest with this photo. I can see it being turned into a greeting card or a print to hang on the wall. It really captures the serenity of autumn. They're so lifelike. I can just see them sitting there, watching the leaves fall, closing their eyes and thinking "Ah this is heaven".

I also would have never guessed that they weren't meant to be a set. They're so perfect for each other. I guess they're soulmates, heh.

I've come close to buying other female pumpkin dolls from this same artist many times, but I'm really glad I waited. These two make the perfect pair.
